Making money online is hard enough, but it’s just about impossible without decent search engine visitors. Search engine traffic is often thought of as the holy grail, especially when your main income is a lone blog or two. There’s just one problem, though. Not every site gets to be on top. It’s going to take a different approach for you to get better results. Let’s face it, we all want to be at the top – so instead of giving up or using shady tricks, here are three sneaky, time-saving, and smart ways we can quickly boost our website higher and make more money.

Automatic Back Linking

If you’re not RSS marketing, you should be. This is the easiest way to generate free back links to your money site – and as we all know, more back links to your site mean higher rankings. If you have a blog, you need to submit the RSS feed to several RSS directories. Your RSS feed will be something like mysite.com/feed. Now every time you add content your site, a small snippet of your article is sent and picked up by RSS aggregators, meaning you get a free back link from that directory.

What if you don’t have a blog? No problem. Go to a site that specializes in creating RSS feeds from webpages. This can be a site like Feedity, or Page2RSS. Now you’ve got an RSS feed (and a free backlink) that you can submit to the RSS Directories, such as FeedAge. When you add content, your money making site gets free backlinks. And for even more backlinks, head over to OverWire, sign up for the accounts there, and then grab the feeds from those sites and submit them as well. Make sure as you add your updates for these sites that it isn’t spam or fake.

Crazy Fast Indexing

So you’ve got a great new page added to your site, now what? Well, instead of waiting for Google to come and find it, force Google to come to you. Do this by social bookmarking that new page or article. Make use of free online tools such as Social Monkey and Social Adr. These sites make updating statuses, tweeting and bookmarking easy. When you’ve done that, take all the RSS feeds those sites provide, and submit them to FeedAge too.

The Three-Article Cha Cha

Since you’ll be writing content for your audience anyways, why not try this little trick, and see how quickly your search engine rankings soar. Write a 500 – 800 word article carefully focused around your money niche. Submit it to Scribd. Using the same theme, write a different but focused article around your niche and submit it to Tumblr. Finally, do this a third time (don’t use stolen or spun PLR, they don’t work), and submit it to Reddit. Do this all in the same day. Let your main keyword be in your article about three times, mostly near the top. Add four or five related keywords throughout the rest of the article. Watch how much Google loves this, and decides to boost your money site’s positioning as a result.
