A great way to improve your sales and profits is with list building. This is a segment of email marketing that is very important. Now marketing to your current leads and customers is fine, but you should know that the larger your email list is, the more money you will make – assuming you’ve built a relationship with them and have gained their trust.

But you can’t do this without an email list. Every new visitor that you get to your sales page thinks that your current price is THE price. There’s no negotiation here. It’s either they are going to buy the product, or they won’t. And most often… they won’t. But offer the same ultimatum to your email list, and they will buy immediately.

That’s a great benefit of list building and email marketing all together. You have equity in your list. The more leads you get, the more traffic and sales you will get, and the more your net income will increase. The more your subscribers trust you and like you, the more they will trust your recommendations, and the more they will be inclined to purchase your product.

Along side with email marketing, you will want to make sure that your copywriting game is up to par also. On your sales page, have the most persuasive sales copy that you could ever come up with. This is a skill that just might be the most valuable skill that you could develop as an online business owner.

The power of “penmanship” is a good thing. That means you will have the ability to sell anything online. Sure getting traffic and building a list is the fundamentals of online marketing, but once they reach your sales page… then what? This is a question that you need to answer before you start marketing anything online.

These email marketing tips that I’ve given you here today are simple but downright effective. Make your subscribers like you and trust you and you could have an email newsletter that is worth a lot of money. It won’t happen overnight, but it is a good start. So keep this in mind.
