Having an email marketing newsletter is a great way to get sales, and to boost sales. Most people who start off online already have something that they want to sell, but experience mediocre results (or no results at all). This is disturbing to most people, and they have no idea of what to do. But if your product price is relatively high… you should consider generating a lead first.

Why generate a lead? Well, in theory… it’s because you’re going after someone who you can gain respect from, be perceived as an expert, and have the highest chances of having someone buy from you. This repetitive contact is something that will boost your conversion rates – as opposed to if they simply visited your site, where your product information was displayed.

So let’s go into some quick and easy ways that you can have major success with an email marketing newsletter in your online business. I assure you that these tips will help you out tremendously, and will add more profits to your bottom line. Here’s the first tip that I want to share with you:

1) Pick a good autoresponder

Do you know what an “autoresponder” is? An autoresponder is an application that automatically sends emails to people who subscribe to your email newsletter. Some of the best in the business are: Aweber, Getresponse, Mail Chimp, and Constant Contact. There are tons of them online, but these are my favorites.

Now I said pick a “good” autoresponder because with some autoresponders, your messages/emails can end up in the spam folder of someone’s email inbox. But if you use a service like Aweber, this is something that you don’t have to worry about. I’m not say that this company is perfect, but your chances of landing in someone’s inbox instead of their spam folder is very high.

Learning how to use an autoresponder is easy. Almost all of them have tutorials and step-by-step guides and FAQs section that guide you to setting one up, and making it go live on your website. This is great news especially if you’re a new beginner to internet marketing and email marketing. So learn more about it today. Here’s another email newsletter tip that I want to share with you:

2) Monitor your spam rating

Once you’ve picked a good autoresponder to use, it’s time to craft your messages. But depending on the niche that you’re operating in, it can be tough to swap words with other synonyms that make your email sound… “PG” (lol). If your email doesn’t pass this test, your autoresponder will determine whether or not it passes the “spam test”.

A good autoresponder does this automatically, and if it doesn’t pass the test, it will let you know – and that particular message will probably end up in someone’s spam folder.

Monitor your messages, try to keep your spam rating under “1”, and continue to put out good content. And even if your spam rating is under “2”… this is good too. It’s a great way to make your email marketing campaigns work for you.

Good luck with marketing online.
