Email Marketing Is King! Email Marketing Is, and Probably Always Will Be The King of Online Sales


This comes as a surprise to many people.

Now more than ever, with all the rage behind Twitter, Facebook and every other form of social media (and don’t get me wrong, from a marketing perspective those are all great). That being said, our clients and students are still making the most money marketing to the email list they build(by a long shot!).

If you’re not building an email list right now, start immediately.

Create a unique piece of content that someone who is interested in your product of service would find valuable. It doesn’t have to be anything fancy, just start with a 2-3 page report with great tips and information. You can use your report (or video, or audio, or whatever) as an “ethical bribe” to use a carrot to get people to sign up for your email list.

Offers that you make to your email list will convert better than a blog post, Tweet or all other social media – combined.

So how often should you communicate with your list of email followers?

Let me say that again… the more often you email your list, the more money you will make!

Before you spit out your glass of water and say “yeah right buddy!”. Let me explain…

I am not at all suggesting that you spam your email list every 5 minutes with nothing but total garbage. What I am saying is that when our clients and students started mailing to their list’s more often (3-7 times per week), the sales went through the roof!

Your email’s don’t all have to be pitching something. You could send out, your thoughts and a link to an informative or entertaining video, article or blog post without including an offer at all.

The purpose of sending emails isn’t always to sell or promote something, it is to get your audience more familiar with you and what your offering’s are all about. When they feel like they know you, they buy from you.

When you don’t send emails regularly(it doesn’t have to be everyday), your subscribers are less likely to become customers because they won’t feel the connection and won’t feel like they know you..

Post often, stay top of mind, and watch your sales explode!
